Condition
All watches are categorised as brand new, preloved and so on. Vintage watches are shown as they are. For new watches we use some manufacturers' promotional pictures, but any limited edition numbers shown are those of the actual watch.
What we do and don't do
Each watch is fully inspected and is working as it should: hands turn freely, the date changes where fitted, and the watch winds. To bring you great prices we do not service every watch, and we recommend you do so regularly to keep it in good working order.
We bench test each watch for timekeeping and accept a tolerance of two minutes either way. If you have any concerns we are happy to send you a TIMEGRAPH reading with a picture of your watch in test. Some of the more expensive watches have been serviced by third party specialists, and where that is the case the service record is supplied with the watch and shown on the product page.
Watches are not tested for functionality and timekeeping over longer periods of time. For this reason, long-term performance is excluded from our warranty once the returns window has closed. This does not affect your statutory rights.
We aim to supply vintage watches in the best possible condition, but some wear must be expected due to age. This is shown in the pictures supplied. Please ask if you would like more pictures of any particular feature.
